Ever have those days, where you feel like everything is going your way? I probably don’t have to ask, but have you ever had a day where everything feels like it’s going completely wrong? That happens to me all the time.
On any given day, I could have the following happen….
1. The internet is down and my computer is not working.
2. One of my loved ones is in trouble or needs a favor from me.
3. One of my loved ones is upset with me….big families…it happens.
4. I have an emergency pop up that I have to address.
5. When I had a second job, the frustration from my second job would take all my energy.
6. I feel so behind in my own business that it makes me feel tired, stressed and I can’t seem to even make myself turn on the computer.
It’s enough to make you run down the street screaming.
But those are just little things. There can also be pain in our life that is getting us down. We all deal with pain on some level. Some deal with more than others but as human beings we all encounter pain that we have to accept and overcome.
The pain and inconveniences we experience are a natural part of life but they can kill our productivity. So just how do you get past it? You’ve probably heard how negative and positive emotions stimulate the same parts of our brain. Of course, everyone operates differently, but here are a few things I have found to turn a negative emotion around on it’s face to increase your productivity.

Hi Emily,
I completely agree! It can be so hard to be productive and get things done when the smallest thing happens. I am a big fan of writing things out, and taking a break helps if you’ve really been working too hard, but then again it can be hard getting motivated again after relaxing.
It can be difficult for anyone, but I think it was a great idea to write about it to re-iterate that it happens to everyone and ideas to help.

I know what you mean Erika!
It can be so nice relaxing some time, you don\’t want to get back to work. I\’m a big fan of writing things out too. When I\’m feeling bad I\’ll go back and read it and think \”Yes! that\’s how I feel!\” And then I read my solutions page and it gets my mind clear again about what I need to do.
Thank you for sharing!
